Bad experience - expensive summer classes with unprepared teachers. DON'T waste your time. ZERO refund policy and impatient staff. I drove far away to come to their classes and was left so upset.

The Childrens Museum offers a variety of hands on activies for the children. The Children learn while they play, a great alternative to going to the Magic house. Prices are reasonable.
not exactly the Magic House Reviewed by HelloMetro User on

If you live in the area, the Edwardsville Children's Museum has the advantages of being convenient, reasonably priced, and uncrowded. It's a real stretch, however, to compare it to the Magic House. The Museum is just getting started, and thus offers a small range of activites for a small range of ages. It seems most appropriate for the pre-school set. The Museum does offer summer day camps in wide range of disciplines--everything from science to art to cooking--for a wider range of ages. They also offer birthday party packages for a less hectic, less commercial alternative to the usual sites.
